Perranporth beach is a brillaint surfing beach when the waves are right The waves are constant on a good day because of a rip tide However the same rip tide can get annoying, you will find you are spending most your time walking back into the surfing flaged area. Great places to eat and drink around perranporth. One of the better beaches in Cornwall. 6 miles southwest of Fistral in Newquay. over 3 miles of flat sandy beach. single obstacle on extreme left of beach on incoming tide (chapel rock) but not hard to notice (it's pretty huge!) wave heights vary dependant on tide and wind but usually overhead. Small tubes occasionally on incoming tide. best in the winter months. beware of rips left to right.
