The Outer Island is the dark yellow one called Mango Ganesh with the V stringers and C drive fins is my current Indo travel board, no airline worries there , the swallow tail Magic Fish is my short board myo only Surftech and even shorter is my son's kneeboard, for pit punching on a couple of rock shelve around here where I cannot fit a long board.
The blue one is a Na Papa I won in a contest![]()
I still ride each one when the time is rightMakes me quiver.jpg

Never heard of such a thing as a bisect...interesting!
If you look at the picture I posted you will see a yellow board in two pieces between them there is a carbon fibre cylinder that fits inside a slightly larger carbon fibre cylinder outside diameter to inside diameter so no slap.
there are knobs on the two ends that make contact to stop the whole thing rotating about its own axis and then a tension clip on the deck and another on the bottom of the board. the 9ft board bisects into 2x 4' 6'' pieces that fit into a carry bag. The board itself is a good all round longboard that I am happy to surf as small as it gets and up to my maximum limits. It is not my specialist long board but it fills that category when the airlines get silly about surfboards and it become sporting equipment![]()
