Been snowboarding for ~10 years and have only surfed for 3 days. I know nothing about the section board, hoping one of you might, it's 5'11" x 19.5" x 2.5". Snowboard is an old Palmer Honeycomb.

These are my crew mostly long, add to them my two mats the booger is for IMO grovel stuff and grandkids' surf expeditions.
The bisect is for serious OS travel where boards are not the flavour on the airline.
Miss Metallica is for scaring the crap out of ignorant drop in note the riveted metal nose
The Outer Island is the dark yellow one called Mango Ganesh with the V stringers and C drive fins is my current Indo travel board, no airline worries there , the swallow tail Magic Fish is my short board myo only Surftech and even shorter is my son's kneeboard, for pit punching on a couple of rock shelve around here where I cannot fit a long board.
The blue one is a Na Papa I won in a contest :D
I still ride each one when the time is right

If you look at the picture I posted you will see a yellow board in two pieces between them there is a carbon fibre cylinder that fits inside a slightly larger carbon fibre cylinder outside diameter to inside diameter so no slap.
there are knobs on the two ends that make contact to stop the whole thing rotating about its own axis and then a tension clip on the deck and another on the bottom of the board. the 9ft board bisects into 2x 4' 6'' pieces that fit into a carry bag. The board itself is a good all round longboard that I am happy to surf as small as it gets and up to my maximum limits. It is not my specialist long board but it fills that category when the airlines get silly about surfboards and it become sporting equipment
If you want some close ups of the board yell and I'll post them :D

My girlfriend asked me "How many boards does one boy need?" I replied "How many different waves are in the ocean?"

She swears that I love the boards more than her... If that were true I'd have a Hanna Montana boogie board with a hole drilled in it!

Impressive stuff here, my quiver is as tiny as it gets but handles almost everything that washes up on our beaches:

The only problem with such a recognisable board is that when you're tombstoning

I had this since 1989... Wondering what it's worth, if any.

Going for $100 on ebay today... <edit>

I got to the site from your link if the boards work as well as the site does they're not all that good, hope the board lasts.
IMO a suspect site.
