Scratby is a small village just north of Yarmouth. It has a number of breaks but the main ones are a right and a left by the carpark.
This spot works on both a northerly swell and a southerly swell and can be surfed on all tides, although it's best on the push.
As with all East Anglian breaks the spot is pretty fickle so study the weather reports before making a serious trip.
Head along the coast road from Great Yarmouth towards Caister-on-Sea and take the Caister Bypass. Take the turnoff to the beach along California road - nice eh!
Probably the most convenient place is Yarmouth as there are loads of accommodation options - camping, caravan, B&B, hotel.
Park overlooking the break in the carpark.
Visit Great Yarmouth as thousands of holidaymakers have done before you. Check out the pier. Hire a boat and spend the day on the broads.
