General Description
Taylors Mistake is one of the better breaks in the Christchurch area. TM tends to have a little more size than other breaks in the area and as a result can be busier. Works in a big northerly, and easterly but probably best in a south easterly swell. Offshore in a westerly.
Taylors can hold up to a 2.5m swell and relies on its banks for the quality of waves.

Head out to Sumner and keep going over the hill.
Where to Stay
Closest stay is Sumner where there is a backpackers right next door to the pub. Handy eh!
Access & Parking Info / Cost
The beach has a car park with free parking. Change there and its a 30 second walk to the beach.
When its Flat?
Sumner has a cinema, pub and several places to eat. The Thai is very nice.
