Once you find this break (just north of the main beach in Byron) you'll realise why it's named the Wreck. At low tide the rusting old wreck is exposed.
The wave is a a shortish but fun ride, and is a great alternative to the much busier Pass.
If you are standing looking our onto the main beach at Byron, look left at low tide and you'll see the wreck sticking out of the water.
Loads, you can get gear and clothing.
Check out the lovelies on the beach.
