Called Deveta or Galle.
The wave is a good one for beginners with smaller waves making their way to the beach.
The wave breaks onto sand and can be surfed throughout the year.

Good for fishing. Look around the town and have a look at the Galle Fort which dates back to the 17th Century. Don't forget your camera.
