Cam Rewind Road Trip: Opening Day In NorCal

October 18th and 19th won’t go down in the history books as the biggest swell ever to hit NorCal. It may, however, go down in history as one of the warmest, sunniest, friendliest North Pacific season openers in a very very long time. Regular surfers enjoyed clean, long point surf in Santa Cruz, big-wave chargers had a reunion session at Mav’s after last year’s non-season, and Ocean Beach surfers mostly just mind-surfed the perfect beachbreak peaks (or spent an hour paddling for one wave.)
