Wave Of The Day: Greg Long, Puerto Escondido, July 27, 2021

We said it a couple weeks back: Puerto Escondido can’t stop, won’t stop — and it’s still going, as evidenced by this beauty this morning “I’m fairly certain that was the most perfect and enjoyable barrel I’ve ever ridden out at Puerto,” Greg Long said a few hours after catching this right. “A solid double-up, long, ruler-edge wall, and not a drop of water out of place once inside the barrel. Just pure ethereal bliss from start to finish. This has been one of the most consistent memorable summer seasons I can remember. I’m so grateful to have spent most of it down here in Puerto — and to all the locals for sharing their incredible waves and home.”
