The Grand Plage is Biarritz can be a nice hollow wave in the right conditions. Busy break not just with locals but many visiting surfers. The break is right in Biarritz.

Longboard waves in Biarritz. Offers fun waves of decent length. Easy access, it's right in the city. Can get busy but normally plenty of waves. La Côte des Basques was the beach where surfing first appeared in France in the 1950's, and currently plays host to a stop on the the ASP Women's Longboarding Championship tour.
Nice beach In the summer with warm temperatures and a lot of people there are no waves or it is too packed to surf. In winter it is way to cold to surf you need at least a 5mm wetsuit, in spring and auntumn it is the best to surf
