A busy small to medium wave beach break in the town of Saltburn by the sea. Works best on a medium swell but will work in all swells. Offshore southerly.

Saltburn gets really popular not just with surfers. Surf hire is available and with the lack of power in the waves this is a good beginners spot.

massive stretch of sandy beach eventually leading to rocky area to right side.Similar waves to saltburn due to position of beach. No changing facilities and former magnasite plant nearby (now under demolition) so used to pump water used for cooling back into sea. Been closed down around 3 or more years. Occasionally get surfers alternating between here and seaton carew.
