About Me

I'm a US Army veteran having served over three decades around the globe to include five combat tour of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have always loved the beach and the sound of crashing waves and after reading a quote by Ashley Montagu (Anthropologist; 1905-1999) "The idea is to die young … as late as possible." The next week I took surfing lessons, I was horrible but I'm determined to learn how to surf in an effort to turn off all the external voices and find my own peaceful tranquility.
