I'd happily get rid or a bunch of these boards but Ken seems to have some kind of emotional attachment to almost every board that comes through our front door. I think he's hiding some boards at his friends' homes so I won't force him to sell them. The only boards I ride are the 6'0s and the 5'2". Basically I get a board for every occasion (birthdays, Christmas, Valentine's Day). This is Ken's way of getting a gift for himself while pretending it's for me.

Small waves: 5'11" x 20&3/4" (mini swallow tail fish)
Medium waves: 6'0 x 18&1/2" (squash tail)
Largish waves: 6'4" x 19 (mini swallow tail)

Very large waves: Which is maybe 4/5 times a year I borrow the family's 6'11" semi gun

I also have an old board for lending out to guests/friends: 6'4" x 19&1/4" (mini swallow tail, snapped in half and repaired)

LOL. No not Layne Beachley. Didn't she and Ken Bradshaw break up? Plus, I'm sure she'd have a larger quiver with a wider range of big wave boards. Nope, not me...I like grovelling small waves. :-)

hey hb80 how was the 5'8 fish you mentioned before ride? i wanna get a fish for smaller days. is it really comparable to a longboard for small days the way people say paddle-wise and ease of catching waves?

I ride a 5'9" roberts that works great in knee high and holds on rail surprisingly well in the bigger stuff, up to head and a half easy. I have a 5'8" psycho ward that i hate more than anything, the rails are wack on it. Had a 5'9" patterson that worked amazing until i broke the nose and it got waterlogged out at the creek. And I am using a 5'11" rounded pintail shaped by mayhem in head high+ surf. Holds rail great and throws buckets. What a speed machine.
