hey...
again everyone.

aha so im having the most fun time picking out a shortboard...*slight sarcasm*

so ive narrowed it down to about 4 boards.

2 speed demons---one thats 6'2''x19x2 3/8
and another thats 6'2"x18.7x2 3/8
the second one is way cheaper than the first

theres the lost proformance thats 6'2''x18 5/8x 2 3/8.

and finally a ci flyer---6'4''x20.5x2.5

your input would be GREATLY appreciated.

on a side note
mother nature totally didnt wanna work with me yesturday
i got to the beach...and the waves were kinda bigger and stronger than when i usually go

but i figured after making my mom take me...id go in
i tried paddling out...failed and failed and failed...and the current kept pulling me south

id paddle out...and then a minute later i'd be a half a mile from where i started..

just one of those days...
kinda discouraging but whatever

Speed Demon is great for small days. Lots of volume and pretty flat rocker. Hard to take off steep with this board. If mostly surfing beach break, might want to get the ProFormance instead.

Agree with smallwavegrovellerchick .I had a Proformance squashtail(6'2"x18 something) and currently have a Speed Demon roundtail (6'0"x18.25"x2.27"). I'd say they are very different boards to ride, and if I had the SD 2" bigger it would be a battle ship to ride. SD a bit shorter is cool for powering down the line generating as much speed as possible then blasting up or through something.
I prefered the PF as it was better to turn and carve, but it is aimed at the higher ability end of the market unlike a full size SD is. Only reason I don't still have the PF is because I broke it and after it was repaired it was never the same so I sold it  .

Incidently I'm gonna sell my SD as I've got a new 6'2" squashtail(Adams) and I won't use the SD since it doesn't really fill the gap that I wanted it to which is for the smaller days. Whilst the SD is ok for small days its not significantly better and it soon gets out of its depth when the waves get bigger even tho it has a roundtail.

alright..wellll..

i only surf beach breaks at the moment.
"]

bolsa chica and the occasional roam through huntington when its small.

usually dont go out when its any higher than 5 feet cuz it becomes quite a task turtle rolling my 7'6'' over and over again trying to get out.

howeverr it pretty much stays b/w the 2-4 ft range on most days.

some days its mushy, slow rolling waves
whilst on other days...they might be more powerful
