Sorry. I just realised I'm wasting space here. Hardly making a useful contribution to this online community.

Don't you know anyone in Guildford? If not, why are you there?

Thanks folks, I appreciate the kind words.

And no, not a soul, I've moved down here to stay with me Ma (Urg!) until I learn to drive and sort out what I'm doing. I thought it was an opportunity I aught not to refuse since not having to pay rent will be allow me to save a bit so that when I have a proper plan and made arrangements I have some financial backing (and the driving thing).

I've only been here 3 days and I'm regretting it already. It's seriously strange living with a parent again and Guildford feels...I dunno...isolated. Hmph! It should get better once I meet some folk, but right now it's hard to look on the bright side of things ya know.

As you say, it could be worse, I should stop moaning really.

Hey, thanks for the concern Long Man!

I dunno, kinda, hopefully I'll get a job soon, that should at least distract me if nowt else. I've applied for a fair few, a couple of lab jobs in particular that I'm very keen on, though I'm not sure what my chances are. I've also started volunteering once a week (started on Sunday) with the Surrey Wildlife Trust. That's OK, nice to be doing some physical work, I was kinda hoping to meet some people doing it though but they're all old gimmers. As fer drawing, I guess yer right, there's only so much job hunting you can do, there's a fair amount of waiting for calls etc to do so aye, thought I may as well have summat to show for me time.

My birthday is tommorrow, i'm gonna celebrate it on Friday though, my sis (only a couple of years older than me) and I are off to Brighton on Friday clubbin'. So it won't be too bad.

Thanks ...J...

Course they can, things can pretty much always get worse. Think of the very worst possible situation you can possibly think of ever... and then add athletes foot or something equally unpleasant.
