Good work Cheezee, 1 question....why dont you start kickboxing again? seemed to work in the past and you obviously havent lost it?
Dont want to highjack the thread or anything but.....
what do you do if the muscle memory isnt there? Ive started cycling into work again (5.5 miles each way - not far I know

) a few days a week and running (never thought I would do that again) at lunch time when i havent cycled (I mean jog for a bit then get tired and then walk, then jog etc). I want to get fit and at the moment my motivation is fairly high - extra flab, always does the trick

but I want to get fit, not just thin again whilst still enjoying the odd cheeky beer and crappy food.
I dont have the muscle memory of someone who was fit and strong, just someone who was thin from all night clubbing, but I want to be strong and fit with stamina now. I know it will be hard work to build it up. So far from doing yoga I seem to have avioded the injuries I sustained previously from exercise. Enjoyment seems to be key and I hate the gym with a passion -no matter how hard I trained I never saw the results, injury usualy kept me out... bad personal trainers
Please dont tell me the answer is grit your teeth and get on with it. If someone doesnt havent the 'muscle memory' of a healthy, strong, fit person, is it actually possible to change all that at 25 yrs old whilst working a 60 hour week?? What does it take? - Ive basicly sat on my arse for the last 10 years and not much else, apart from working in an office whilst sat on my arse.
