I think that all british commonwealth countries have that agreement with Oz. Might want to check that out.
Australian visas are a nightmare
Ive got the advice book on the desk next to me, and I still dont understand most of it....
As I understand it, you're basically right. BUT after the two years, you dont
'renew' for a permanent one, you
'apply' for a permanent one. The work experience in australia is worth quite a lot of points, but still no guarentee of getting in. It'll come down to what job you're doing and whether its on their wish-list. If you've spent two years bumming around doing bar jobs, then you probably will not have your visa renewed.
