
IMo he doesnt look that defined or that low on body fat so long as he's sensible he'll be ok.

I've always found it slightly odd. It just seem like vanity, or some underlying feeling of inadequacy.
a couple of my mate got into doing it with steroids...now that was all vanity....jokers.

Also Ive seen a lot of people go from fat to buff by hitting the gym because they had a lot of body mass to work on to get bigger.

The reason big muscley guys get fat fast, is because of their metabolism. Lean people tend to have a faster metablism, or people who do alot of cardio. Muscle heads tend to have a slower metabolism(anology, desil cars vs. asian tuners, low rpm vs high rpm), so a slower metabolism means burning off FAR less colories, so they need to eat alot less. Though after years of eating a whole cow a day, they have a hard time cutting back, and arnt working out to work it all off(what happened to me when I hurt my knee a year ago).
