Lol yah I'm pretty sure. Duck diving is for big waves like that so ya dont get flipped over.

Never seen Blue Crush, heard it's not that good though, well shite infact. Apparently its a bit fake?

I have the movie on dvd
yes, it's cheesy, or whatever, but there is something I love about this movie.

Probley the fact fact the the girls are totally hot!
some hawaiian locals are in the movie too----> DA HUI

Over all, it's just a fun movie

i have to agree, i've got it on dvd and pull it out whenever there is no surf. Awesome soundtrack and some good footage. You can always look over the cheesy bits and there's some classic extras on the dvd which is probably more of what i watch most of the time

i watched the film yesterday i loved it! it is so inspiring, everytime i watch these things im more inspired =D i think they are good, and can also teach us a few things about surfing :D

i have yet to see any surf video besides endless summer... sadly enough i can only find them to buy. But is it worth it to buy them... and if you do buy them what do you get out of them... just stoke or what?

Yes, Step into Liguid and when it comes out Riding Giants are way worth it. If you love surfing, you will love the movies. Much history and the cinematography is simply amazing.

I just saw riding giants in my local area
on a HUDGE IMAX screen, it was awesome!

but blue crush....I just really like it
because it's.....a movie! it's not suppoed to be
100% real, it's...a movie....with really hot chicks
with cheesy a story line....

i would ride that sandbar any day. seemed to be nice waves to me. and dont have to worry about smashing yourself on the reef.

id rather be on taht sandbar break then pipe, I would rather not get ground into a reef when I screw up. Blue crush was cool only because it had good music and hot chicks, thats about it.

just watched step into liquid for the first time! that movie is rad. it's got great footy from all over. that wave was crazy breaking 100 miles off the coast on san diego.

The one Skin dog rode? Yea that was kick ass, but I like the part about the foil boards and Taj. The girl surfer part is good also, I am a guy, and they wernt really hot....but it was cool anyway, well S.I.L was great over all.

ok blue crush is cool i really like it just the fact that it had to do with surfing, and its an alturnative since im going to cali this summer and will finally get on a board!! so this is what i have to deal with oh and also OLN has surfing on it, so i watch that......i really wanna see riding giants!! i heard its awesome... ok im a girl and i thought the blonde head was the prettiest, dunno her name sorry!! the other two werent exactly that pretty...

I really liked it. I know it's cheesy but I've seen it about 4 times and still love it. Great soundtrack also.

i eard the stunt double got injured and they had to use a man in drag to do the scenes for th contest HA! i was watching it with cousin and picking out all he mistakes "the second reefs breaking..." oh no its not!

i am also a gal and must agree, the dark haired girl was out of the film swat, and i think she has odd eyes, she looks like she's always frowning =D its an awesome film love it!
