i read that link and it seemed like it was just a few case studies. no statistics. i have some biased websites of my own, only i dont think theyre very biased at all. check this one out:

i espetually like the part about "brain damage."
while youre on that site, check out all the other awesome articles they have on marijuana myths
http://www.erowid.org/plants/cannabis/c ... myth.shtml
(note that references are cited and notes are provided. they are not just pulling statistics and facts out of their arses.)
check out where they figure marijuana addictions myths come from. sounds like physical symptoms and supposed side effects only appear when one smokes the equivalent of what would kill you in alchohol consumption.
ill take the restlessness and nausea over alcohol poisioning and death any day.
the whole schizophrenia thing really is just absurd. i tried to find something ligitamate in my books but the closest thing i found was that marijuana excites dopaminergic neurons and one of the many abnormalities in schizophrenia is an excess of dopamine.
also, cocaine really does only have minor withdrawl symptoms. thats not to say its not a dangerous drug. i wouldnt touch it. but it has less withdrawl than regular coffee use. that goes for the beloved mary jane as well.
as for cravings, not being able to not smoke all of your baggie, its all willpower, its not the drug. some people get addicted to video games. some to surfing. marijuana is addictive, i know. just without withdrawl, its not as addictive as others.
to say that marijuana kills more brain cells than alcohol is just pure insanity. at its worst, marijuana causes the desensitivity of THC-like receptors, which leads to problems with concentration and retrieving memory, not memory loss, or dead brain cells.
look up korsakoffs syndrome. youll find its not some biased hippie made up term. alcohol also causes horrible withdrawl including hallucinations, it causes fetal alcohol syndrom, try to find me something as ligitamate as that on marijuana. not to mention poisoning vs. not one marijuana induced death, and the staggering # of drunk driving deaths.
In one study lasting 94 days, marijuana had no significant impact on learning, performance or motivation. 74
