Latest Surfs...

Something for us to report on the latest sessions we've had, conditions etc... Post pics if you took any......!

Scored a suppsinly ok session at my local Wedge yesterday, 4-6ft lowtide bombs dispite the low period swell. Some classic moments including the inevitale jacking up of a cracker and not being able to pull off. Resignation that I was going over I had to pull a funny pose as I went down with the lip. Had my mate in stiches :p
Was dire this mornign tho :(

Just had the pleasure of 3 days surfing in a row  ! Last day was Sunday and later in the evening when checking the Cromer webcam to see what was left I saw a photo of myself! No idea who took the shot. The surf was solid 2-3ft clean-ish with plenty of flat spots on the wave resulting in me not having a great sesh, plus I had to get out early to go to work :x . Another few days surfing within the next 2 weeks and I might get back to the standard I was at before!
Image

This photo makes the wave look huge compared to how it was, reckon the photographer must be really good and knows how to tilt the camera to make the wave look bigger  .

I went surfing on the east coast here in SC. And it was shoulder high but real choppy. Could stayed out longer but I had a friend with me who said the water was too cold. Water temp is 70.

I keep wondering...

uuuukey.

Top line in the thread:
"Something for us to report on the latest sessions we've had, conditions etc... Post pics if you took any......! "

You answer: "I haven't had any surf lately"

I thought canada was on tellus.

Seriously, you can't be that stupid?

Last two days were really good, nice southern swell. Scored some nice head high waves at one spot and some hollow, shoulder high waves at another.

wow, went out today at 7:30am and it was ok. About 4ft hollow.
At about 9am we got crowded by 14 other surfers, and the waves started to close out. And to add to the pain, there was some serious jellyfish in the water.

Okay, not been surfing for over a week, but I like the idea of a regular thread where we just report in the sessions :D

And its going to be too flat and crowded over the easter weekend, so need memories to keep me going until some swell arrives...

But last week - waves dropping off, very little power, gusty cross-shore wind, so rubbish conditions. Me and my girlfriend got the map out and went for an explore around cornwall to some little places Ive been meaning to go to for years. Travelled around for a couple of hours, saw a few spots, but only to see what they were like for next time there was some swell.

And then, at the end of a country lane, oh yes, perfection :D

Small (waist high), but perfectly clean on some lovely sandbars with not a single person but me out there 8)
And the sun even came out.

Only downside was almost breaking my own foot when I kicked my own board as we cart-wheeled through the air - that air went so much better (or at least higher) than I was expecting on a tiny wave!

This spot isnt exactly secret, but its not all that well known either, so shhhhhh...

Seek and ye shall find
