Surfing in Northern Spain (Santander)

Hi there,

I recently booked an affordable trip to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santander,_Spain, located on Spain's northern coast. While initially considering Portugal, I discovered that Cantabria is also renowned for its surfing scene.

I'm always excited to try surfing in a new location. Although I haven't found extensive information, I noticed mentions of Somo as a town with several surf schools, conveniently close to Santander.

Do you have any recommendations or advice for surfing in Somo or around Santander?
