How far do you live from the coast?

Postby gulfsurfer » Sun Nov 20, 2005 2:03 am

I moved to north texas permenatley at the end of the summer so now i live 5 hours from the coast. Its rediculous. Before this i lived like 1 block from the beach so it was hard to get used to. Oh well, i still surf nearly every weekend, gas just gets expensive, but its worth it. SOOO how far do you live from the coast??

Are we talking high tide or low tide?

I'm lucky, my mom likes the beach and likes to surf, so she lets me go whenever i have enough gas money.

I live 4 hours from a decent break

atleast gas is like back to two bucks a gallon though now

In the UK Gas is currently pushing $6.40 a gallon! So this rules out weekly surf trips!!
