New newbie surfer in Scheveningen

Hi Surfers!!

My name is Rafael and I am a Brazilian living in the Netherlands, Scheveningen.

I never had the change to live by the sea but I grew up next to Nature, rivers and mountains - which I am grateful for!! Even though I always been a fan of surf movies and the Brazilians in the sport, my outdoor background comes from climbing, hiking, slack lining and cycling. I just got a surf board and I am starting to learn here in the North sea.

It is a pleasure to be here and I hope to learn a lot about this amazing sports.

Let me know if anyone is living around, I live 3 mins walking from the beach.
