Winter 2022 Surf

Eastern Canada & USA got plastered by a big winter storm a few days before Christmas 2022. Newspapers and websites rush to display amazing images of sleet, snow, frozen rain, whiteout conditions, drifts, closed airports, vehicles stuck on cold highways, and more.

But among all the chilly mayhem, the Surf's up! My favorite photo shows a surfer on Lake Erie in western New York amid the frigid temperatures (photo).
