Catch Surf Skipper

hi guys

I have the following boards:
Pyzel Phantom 6'2 35.9L (Shortly I will moving this one to Spain)
Pyzel Astro Pop 5'9" 33.7L
Decathlon Retro Fish 5'8" 35L (in Spain)
I am 6'0 and around 185lb would say intermediate +

Love all the boards above but in crappy days (I live in the uk and yes there are more crappy days than good days base on the wind).
The above boards still require some puch on the wave to make them work good.

So I was thinking of buying the 6'0" Skipper for those days here in the UK that are pretty choppy and somehow windy and that a shortboard (hardboard) handles it poorly. So typical day to have fun without the need to paddle to much.

Would you recommend the skipper in 6'0"? Also would not like to be the typical longboard as i can not store in my car anything bigger than 6,6 really (I do not put them in racks just inside the car :P )

Im just a hair taller than you at 6’1” and about 20lbs heavier and found a sweet spot for me for less than perfect waves to be 6’2”-6’4”at 40L. Had my 40L 6’4” phantom out the other day in fat high tide crumblers and it went great. Eirher if the boards you have in higher volume would be a better choice than the odyssey for me. Personally not a fan of the catch surf boards; not an option Id invest in.

What I would do would be to see hiw much board you can squeeze in the car if you fold your front seat back and push the nose down in the footwell. Mini mals hokd a classic spot in quivers for a reason; sporty ones handle quite good and can turn bad wave days into alot of fun.
