Hello from London :)

Hello.

Stumbled across this site and am keen to chew the fat with like minded folk.

I'm forty-cough-splatter ... <deep breath> I'm 46 years young.... and although i've skateboarded for years, i've only just got on a surf board proper this year. I've loved every second of it despite being barely able to stand and am 'competing' with my 9 year old son who's just learnt to surf and now can't stop catching waves.

My location means that we have to travel a fair bit for waves but we're now considering a move to be close to the sea. Location to be decided, but we just need to be near the ocean.

Hope everyone's well.

Welcome! we used to have a surfer here that would drive all the way from London to North Devon/Cromwell every weekend and camp out in his campervan.

I moved from UK all the way to SoCal so I can surf regularly.

Welcome Stoopa, if the the plan to move works it will be good value for you and your family, having your children grow up surfing with you an amazing reward.
Just think fresh sea air you will get rid of that nasty cough.
BTW I am 73 still surfing with my 53 year old son, don‘t get ageist on us!
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷
