Hi, all, just came across this forum, I've only just started surfing at the beginning of August, after putting it off for 3 years of body boardjng while on holiday in North Devon. I live in the North East which has a massive surfing participation which I only just realised, can't believe how busy it gets on a cold day in November in the North Sea at Tynemouth, Anyway I try to get out once a week depending on waves and work, I have my own board Torq 7ft 4 minimal which I have had since my September, I am progressing slowly due mainly to my pop up being slow and occasionally get very frustrated but love it when I get up and get a couple of turns in, I have had some epic wipeouts, but that adds to the fun. Looking forward to reading through all the forum topics and joining the community.

Hi, welcome to stand up surfing.. Most surfers body boarded at some stage then saw the light lol

Burpees help.. Do one on first minute, two on second, three on third until you can't make it within the time..

Uses similar muscles to standing up on board.. Chchur
