Just arrived in Scotland

Postby djzolla » Sat Jun 06, 2020 4:02 pm

Greetings to one and all fellow ocean lovers

I am a 42 old bodyboarder from Cape Town who has just immigrated to Haddington, Scotland. Looking to meet and ride with other bodyboarders out there.

I don't have kit or a car at the moment but will hopefully be sorting this in the next month or two.

It'd be awesome to start making some connections now to learn a little more about where to find some chunky slabs for boogies etc. as well as to start building some friendships with fellow bodyboarders to go on some epic missions to get barreled etc.

My email is paul.wrighteous@gmail.com.. Drop me a line and we can go from there, thanks in advance.

Welcome Paul, less sharks in Scotland, sadly we don‘t seem to have the numbers of bodyboarders we used to on the forum, but there is now one more than last week.

Paul we try to discourage our members from getting spammed out, this usually happens when they post their open email address on the forum.
You can ask fellow forumites to PM you where the admin can ban an stop spammers at your request.
we just got rid of a Nigerian wealth scam / spam.
Sounds bad, the forum is great so welcome enjoy the haggis and surf !
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

Hi Paul
Welcome to the forum and welcome to Scotland. I actually grew up in jo'burg and live across towards Glasgow now.
Scottish waters are brilliant - hope you enjoy them.
Im actually more into snorkelling etc so cant help on the body boarding side of things - pop across to our west coast waters though :)

All the best
Brad
