Aloha!

Stumbled upon this forum while searching for best pre and post workout meals/snacks.
Anyway I’d thought of introducing myself since i’m the newbie.

I am an average skilled long boarder. Surfing for about 10 years now and live on Oahu, Hawaii (represent).

My home break is at White Plains beach, summer south swells are the best but I surf all year round. Never been to the north shore, I don’t know how to swim lol.

They closed all state and federal beach parks due to this pandemic so I have not been able to surf for about a week now, bummer.

Anyway it’s good that I found this forum. I am pretty sure that I will learn a lot more about surfing from you all!

You can still surf, just can't park or sit on the beach. Also you have to deal with some enforcement officers who don't know the true ruling that surfing is allowed.

Welcome to the forum. While surfing is allowed in Hawaii you better not because lifeguard numbers are likely down to nonexistent.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

They closed white plains and I don’t know where else to go. They say go all the way down Waianae but I have never been there. I heard tracks are being taken over by strictly locals only. Not sure how to get to haubush. Yeah I just don’t want to deal with law enforcement having to pull me over every time.

You need to learn the difference between: "Broke da mouth" and "Broke yo face".

One is very good....... one is very bad.

And when your intent on getting on a wave and hear someone from behind yell "HO !", do not mistakenly take that as "Go !"
