Found surfboard, need help with info!!

Postby InoveryourEd » Sun Jul 14, 2019 4:22 pm

Hi! I found an abandoned surfboard in the backyard of staff housing. It's been there for about four years but other than being dirty it seems in ok condition. I'm in a good surfing area and was thinking about claiming it and getting some lessons. Unfortunately I have zero experience and am having a hard time identifying this board - I can't find anything like it anywhere. I've been looking for new fins to replace the old ones but none I find attach the same way as these. If anyone has any info on the type of board this could be, wether it would be good for me and wether it would be worth keeping please help me! Just for general info the board is about 7 feet long I'm a 23 yo girl, weigh about 100 pounds, 5'3". Thank you!!
Also, whats up with that nose? I've never seen a nose like that around

Looks like a Bic 7'3 to me, although those holes on top in the middle make me think footstraps

Definitely a Bic, nothing wrong with those fins, just surf it! Might be a bit small to start out with, but those things are almost indestructible. The holes do appear to be R/L front and rear foot strap holes... Maybe for wake surfing? Who knows? Definitely a surfable board, just make sure the holes are watertight.
