I've got a pink surfboard! :D

Unfortunatley she's stuck in the UK, but at some point she will join me over here, and if i ever catch Brent riding her (which given his past history with my other board is quite likely  ) I will make sure you guys are the first to know 8)

It was bad enough having to wear the pink rash vest in my heats at the Student National surf championships - I'm sure that's why I crashed out in the first round!!

pink surfboard

Postby rob* » Mon Nov 07, 2005 7:39 pm

The board you may have seen is 6.8 white with flourecent griffin breathing fire by Animal
- my daughter has one and can use it.

This summer at Sennen a guy tripped a lift with the lifeguard on the buggy - a good sign he was pretty good. Went in the water with the same board - pink Griffin. Must have been hundreds on the beach and they saw that guy was good, no excellent.
Of all the surfers in the water he stood out and the board was visible for miles - like he was the only one on the water. Everyone was watching as he caught wave after wave
A flourencent pink animal board - only if you are good enough - no you have to be the best & he was.
Made the rest look absolutely invisible - their boards you can only see on the sand & the point is boards come alive in the water, this one did and other people enjoyed the sight. its good to be different - chill ...

I probally wouldn't buy one but I've borrowed my friends funboard, but scince she's so short it was like 6'6, but anyway it was painted flourecent pink.

I got some weird looks, but eh it was all good.

I´d rather surf a pink board than surf in "ball-huggin" Speedos or a G-string! BTW...Pink is Punk!
