Hello from UK (Devon)

Postby baskinglark » Sun Jun 25, 2017 7:11 pm

Hello surfers. I'm quite new to surfing had a couple of lessons and plan on getting good at surfing. I live in Devon and often get bored at weekends so surfing is just the obvious pastime, the amount of people in devon that don't take advantage of the waves is crazy. I live half way between the north and south coasts so I'm well placed to explore both, I've been up to Croyde today and it was ok but a bit messy. If anyone wants to share a lift anytime from the Exeter area let me know. :D

Why thankyou. I've been to New south Wales I started my aussie backpacker trip there about 15 years ago with 3 other friends. We started in Newcastle, i really liked that town I had my first ever all you can eat restaurant meal there and we went to the worlds biggest disco! I wasn't a surfer then, so we didn't even touch the waves! Seems crazy thinking back, absolutely awesome trip though.

Hi baskinglark, welcome to Surfing Waves
You're ideally placed to take advantage of some good waves, it won't take you long to get a few surfing mates to go with.
