SHOREBREAK: The Clark Little Story

Postby BoMan » Sat Apr 08, 2017 5:50 pm

...is an amazing movie about a surf photographer who LOVES to get pounded and captures images of barrels exploding onto the sand. At 1:00 in the video you can see his technique - sliding head first under breaking waves while holding the camera up. He also has a fearless crew of body boarders and body surfers who takeoff on huge closeouts, and smile for the camera before getting worked in shallow water. The incredible results show what's going on beneath our feet.

Nice! He avoids being hit by the lip, that's the tric.

So is a 5'0" or a 4'12" easier to duck dive those types of waves ? Would a Quad fin not stop on the sand as much as a 3 fin ?

Undoubtedly he has incredible wave managing skills and knowledge of waves. I am sure he knows how to avoid the lip and what to do when you can't avoid it.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
