It's a little heavy at 2200 lbs and I don't recommend the nose ride.

It's not scary at all if you imagine a koala bear on his back. I hear you though. If I had to surf with sharks or crocs, I'd definitely pick the sharks.

Beautiful clip, thanks for posting! I most like the first scene where you can see so clear the refraction in the glassy wall.

I think from above it looks like you travelled too far and got to the end of the world. Gives me the woozies looking at this photo.

Who would look at that wave and go 'I know, I'll try to surf it'. I guess Laird Hamilton

(I know its often smaller and less ridiculous) (I also know Laird was not the first, but he was perhaps the first to surf it looking like Wkk's photo)

I agree. It's almost like you can see the curvature of the earth down there in the swirling cauldron.

BoMan,
Caspar Cove is beautiful and known for long peeling waves. Turquoise water color, too! Winter is best season, but my favorite surf forecast is giving it 3 stars for Sunday and Monday morning. Wish I was tagging along.

As a goofy riding a right hand point break primarily, I wish that beauty was a quick drive away! :D

So here's another spot not on the Gold Coast - Huanchaco, Peru. :D
