What is the smallest women's wetsuit?

Postby Beckie2907 » Fri Feb 26, 2016 1:38 pm

Hello,
I'm having trouble finding a wetsuit that fits, and wondered if anyone had the same problem or any advice. I'm 5'4 and slim and find no matter what I try it's always too big on the waist. I'm looking for a winter 5mm suit, so far I've tried Ripcurl tag size 4 (UK size 6, US size 2) and Billabong tag size 4 (UK size 4, US size 0), as I was told this might be smaller. The Billabong was better but still too big. My old wetsuit was an Oneill Delux in tag size 6 (UK 8, US 4) and was still smaller than the newer wetsuits. Unfortunately it's 6 years old and knackered. Any idea why they are bigger now? Anyone know if the new Oneill wetsuits are any smaller, I was told they fit similar to Ripcurl so didn't try it but not sure if this is true? I know the solution is probably to go custom or patagonia but I'm a student and can't afford it, I don't live near any surf shops to go try so have to order online. I've thought about junior wetsuits but think they would be too short for the size I would need? Any help would be much appreciated.

If the online retail shop allows it, order as much wetsuit you want to try out and return them. My record is 7 wetsuit. If all else fails, get a tailor made wetsuit. Just measure up your sizes and off you go.
