Heyo from Israel

Hey y'all
I'm a new surfer from Israel.
I started surfing this past summer, took a few lessons and fell in love.
Unfortunately, due to having a full time job and no car, I only get out to the beach once a week or so. That, combined with small swells, is resulting in pretty slow improvement (I'm still stuck on an 8' foam board, anything smaller and I just pearl my whole session).
I'm going to be leaving in a few months to start a sort of nomad tour for a bit (six months, a year, two years...it's really not planned at all), and am trying to get as good as I can before I leave, so that I can start surfing some real swells along the way!
