I just recently moved here to Jacksonville Beach, which I'm very excited about since I can now actually learn to surf! I was born in Ventura, California but grew up in Indiana. Surfing has always been an interest of mine, but as you can imagine, it's pretty flat in most of Indiana
I have taken a couple surf lessons, once in Coco Beach, FL and once in Rincon, Ca. So I have been up on a board and in the water a few times. However, that was probably 8-10 years ago now. I'll be floating around on the forum trying to get as much information as possible to help my surfing skills and etiquette. So I appreciate any pointers anyone gives me!
