Hi!

I'm swaddict82 (S.alt W.ater addict since 82) and I live on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. I have been living here for 4 years now and I must say it was worth the move. I was born in the Philippines (No, I never got to experience Cloud 9 ) and raised on the south east coast of America in the Carolinas. I have been surfing most of my life but still not as good at it as I would like to be. None the less its about the stoke and the fun/memories you have while trying. I am very excited to be part of this forum and I look forward to communicating all that I can about Hawaii with all of you.

Welcome to the forum. I surfed Oahu for about 4 years when I went to UH. That was in in the late 70's (very likely before you were born) I am sure it is different now and interested to hear the difference and anything else you have to contribute
