Brazil surf spots for beginner/intermediate in Nov/Dec

Hello guys

I will be travelling in Brazil for a while later in the year and am looking for decent and suitable surf spots. My level is probably lower intermediate, though I usually still go with a coach. 3ft is sort of my limit right now. I have my own board. I'm goofy and prefer lefts, though practicing rights too probably wouldn't hurt. I've surfed mainly reef, and strong fast ones at that, but am open to anything. I was first looking at Jericoacoara but that seems to be more suitable for kitesurfing that time a year. Other than that I find conflicting information in the web, so maybe someone here has a great idea/tip?!
