Welcome and read through the forums on anything you think will help. Lots of information.
Get to a European surf destination and try a surf school to get the basics and swim lots to get up conditioning until you hit the beach!
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷
