Brazil in January (Salvador to Fortaleza)

Postby Hubsi » Wed Dec 03, 2014 11:21 am

Hey guys!

I am going to Brazil in the beginning of January. We start in Salvador, drive up to Fortaleza (around 10 days) and then fly back to Salvador (then back to Europe).

Does anyone of you have any tips for nice surf spots, nice accomodations (surf hostels etc), places with good food, anything else that we should do/visit? I am an intermediate surfer. I don´t like sharks and I don´t like surf spots, where the possibility of getting injured at my level of surfing is high :D

I already found some information in the internet. Recife is famous for sharks, so maybe we will skip this area. Another guy in the forum posted that Baía Formosa and Pipa are nice fisher villages, where surfing should be good.

Thank you very much!!!! :woot:

Uncle Jaffa doesn't know much about Brazilian surf, so if you get good information please share your adventures with us. I am certainly interested

Most importantly enjoy yourself thoroughly
