Ghost at Bantham! (pic)

Spotted thus today,

captured on the Venus webcam at Bigbury (covering Bantham) we witness this strange ghostly figure! Is that a bag in his hand? Was he a cockle collector, savagely washed out to sea?

Or is it a shadow - that hat doesn't look like a rock to me! oooh!

Yet mysteriously the man in the hat later disappears!

could it be-conspiracy theorist here-a man, in a hat, with a bag, walking along the sea front at 1.30 and at 2.30 he may have moved on, is a crazy idea :shock:

although a ghost does sound tempting, keep some crowds away!

Indeed, you may notice that some of the other spooky aparitions, who are eating their lunch have also disappeared by 14:30!!

yeah either use a picture thats 30 seconds apart or edit the picture so that the time doesnt show.

It could be related to the unusual number of surfers drowned at Bantham.

After a bit of research with the sqiffy-eyed car park attendant I learnt that the previous landowner did not take a liking to early 50's surfers. Is this his curse?

weve got some ghost hunters over here doing some show or other (for the BBC :roll:

Only problem is, theyve been publishing in the local paper where theyre heading off to.
