Hello from San Diego

San Diego L-Plater and yes I had to look up L-Plate and yes it is appropriate. Riding dirt bikes was my thing up until a few years ago, didn't do much for a couple of years and started to feel like I was getting old so I decided to get back out and active, decided to go surfing. Haven't been out alot but have really enjoyed it to this point.

Really hoping to find someone to surf with sometimes, so throwing that out there. Anyone up for some L-Plate  surfing early Sunday mornings at La Jolla shores?

Hi guys I'm new to the forum. I also surf the shores with my girlfriend fairly often. Sunday morning is when we are out consistently. We are usually out directly in front of the parking lot or out on the north side of scripps pier (the lefts over there are less crowded, but not as good). If you see a guy with a super thick white Grecco soft top paddle over and say hi.
Have fun out there. The shores is a great mellow spot for beginners and the waves can get pretty good there also.

Peace out,
Tyler

Cool Tyler I'll keep an eye out, I'm usually straight out from the parking lot in range of the naim lifeguard tower, tend to stay in that area if I'm surfing alone.

I was out at the tidepools by Tourmaline on New Years eve and took some pictures of people surfing, going to post some of those in the photo section in a couple minutes.
