Heya, newbie surfer and surf artist here!

Postby terrafovea » Sun Dec 22, 2013 11:52 pm

Hiya!

So I've surfed a handful of times and absolutely love the beach and the surf and the sun, I've got the ugliest 9ft giant pink longboard in the world, Big Pinky. I'll post pics soon.

I'm actually here to see if anybody out there would like to participate in some surf art? I'm looking for videos that I can screen-capture to use as reference for drawings and paintings. I want to capture folks having fun in their element, during their most joyful moments. Any and all footage and pics and ideas welcome!! If anyone has anything they'd like to share for this project, please hit me up. If I decide to sell the art, and if anyone would like, I will be sure to name names and give credit where it's due. All that fun stuff.

THANK YOUUU!

:D

Nice to have a Californian girl on board, why not post some of your art as well as your Big Pinky
Good to hear you understand giving credit for stuff with which you underpin your work. ( it's important)
have a soak in the stoke
I've taken up troll hunting just for fun, instead of a rifle I'll just use a pun! 冲浪爷爷

Howdy..:)

the ugliest 9' plank board is probably the best board you can start out on...;)

i remember when I started out as a kid. Me and a mate lugged a huge plank that was hanging around in a dusty garage and the old guy who
owned it said we could use it ....

We had to lug it down a big hill and back and it was on holidays so we could take it whenever we wanted...it was awesome...we started out in the white water and use to jump up and glide all the way into the beach....best way to learn....(in my view anyway) Have fun !!
I mostly surf small waves
