new wetty

Postby scottkUMA » Wed Jun 22, 2011 9:43 am

hey i live in QLD, looking at getting a new wetty, went and tried a few on today.

The e bomb fit the best, is this going to be warm enough? i generally surf between snapper and say cabarita.
E bomb or e bomb pro? as far as i can tell the only difference is the liquid taping on the lower half in the regular e bomb?

Cheers for the help

okay thanks!
should i go e-bomb or e-bomb pro? given e-bomb pro is like $30 cheaper :o
also, is it better for it to be a bit loose under the armpits, or a bit tight across the shoulders?

i got an ebomb pro and its the ish!
if its got a good fit, it realy keeps warm, keeps the water out, has minimal mini-flush (with the chest zip) and paddling feels like, as if you're not wearing one at all... can just recommend it!

and look, that it fits as tight as possible... with the seamless shoulders you dont need any additional fabric to be able to move freely... and with the E30-neoprene it stretches realy well, so you might want to check a size smaller if it fits as well..
i am 1.83 and about 68 - 70kg and i have a size S and it fits purrfect...! (size chart sais 175 - 178 / 65kg)

hm, i am 191ish cm, and about 70-72kg. i tried on the small, and it was tight across the back of my shoulders (like my shoulder blades area) and i tried on the medium, and it wasn't completely tight under my arms (due to me being a skinny bitch)

which one should i be going for?
i tried on like 5 different suits, all the same issue, it was less pronounced in the e-bomb

scott - i had the same problem with my ebomb... S was super tight (when trying on, almost too tight) but then the M was too loose around my shoulders since i am tall and skinny too... but in the water the S did stretch just the bit necessary to fit me perfectly.... but beeing 191, its crazy you fitted into the S at all, since you overstretch the size chart by like 15cm... :o

but as drowningbitbybit sais, its all about the fit.. check out which one you think fits the best (and never forget, the suit will stretch a bit as soon as your in the water the first time... so if it seems just that little bit too snug, it might work out just about...

thanks, i went and tried them on again today.. i think the small is too small, i bent over this time (cant believe i didn't the first time) and the small is just too short.. gonna go the medium, the space under my armpits isn't too bad. much less than my old suit, and it fits me much better everywhere else than my old suit, so it should be fine! fingers crossed haha
