Custard Point Noserider 9'4" vs Beach Beat 9'6"

Postby goatboater » Sat Mar 12, 2011 2:39 am

Hi Guys,

My first post here, have have a read around and seems like a really nice community. Hope this post isn't too annoying - I'm sure you get asked this kind of stuff alot!

I'm a goatboater (if you haven't guessed by the name) but have decided to learn to longboard. I've been looking around for a nice secondhand board to learn on and have found two that I like the look of:

1. A Custard Point Ultimate NoseRider 9'4"

2. A Beach Beat 9'6" board - no model given but it's a 2+1 fin configuration, 22 1/2" across, shaped by Chops apparently

Both are pretty much the same price and appear to be in good condition. I know this is subjective but would welcome some opinions on which is the 'better' board - either for me learning or in general terms (quality of construction/shape for the manufacturer etc.).

Really appreciate any advice,

Thanks,

GB
