Add a SUP to your quiver, and you will lose the need to pray so much!

^^^ would'nt mind one for paddling around on in really flat days. But they are pricey and i would use em maybe a couple of times a year so i cant convince my wallet its worthwhile :-)

Man if I sat on that board it would never float to the top again. I was talking with a guy at my local surf shop and he insisted I would be fine on 6'10'' fish. He said I would be able to catch as many wave, maybe more than my longboard. Being 200 lbs how is the paddle ? I surf 4-5 times a week and the days I take out the 8' Big Boy Stinger I strugle with the paddle.

33 years old, 230 pounds and right now I ride a 7'0x21x2 7/8ths bushman big guy tri. I could go smaller and I dont even surf a lot. A lot of it depends on the sopt youre surfing too. Somewhere with juice it's going to be easier to get a wave then canoes or white plains etc..

I'm 6'2 and weigh 75kg (165lbs).. here's my quiver:

IMG_9413.jpg

The boards are:
front: some 6'4 x 20" x about 3" retro 80s thing... not in regular use. The thickness is all the way to the rails... and there are the original 80s deck grips too... no wax
2nd: Gunther Rohn 6'3 x 18 3/4" x 2 1/4" "Snappy" that had the nose snapped off. Repaired and 'decorated' it back to usability
3rd: 6'0 x 19 1/4" x 2 1/2". Don't use this board much - only for a bit of a novelty, as I use the 6'3 if the surf is of any quality
4th: Jackson 6'1 x 20 5/8" x 2 11/16" Quad fish. Has similar shape and dims to CI pods, but with quad setup, deep single/double concave and plenty of tail rocker. This is the board I ride most of the time.

my short boards are:
- 6'4"x18 7/8"x2 1/9". i don't really ride this one too much anymore. it's pretty old, i got it for $80 from a friend. it's got pretty extreme rocker, especially in the nose. but on slightly bigger/meatier waves, it flies.
- 6'2"x18 something, maybe 19"x2 something (it's got resin tint so i can't read the shaper dimensions, but it's about the same width as the 6'4" and a little bit thicker). this is my go-to shortboard for when the surf is good. and it's also fun on some of the smaller days.
- 6'0"x18 1/4"x2 1/4". i just got this one over the winter. a girl i worked with last summer left it here, so she let me adopt it. i'll probably use it a lot this summer for just whatever.
-5'6"x20 3/4"x2 5/16" retro fish. the good ol' retro fish. good for when i don't feel like strapping my longboard to my car, or if it's bigger-ish and onshore/mushy. but i feel like that 6'0" is going to replace the fish for those days..we'll see

i'm about 5'6"-8" and ~145 lbs. i also ride a 9'x22 1/2"x2 3/4" longboard. i'm thinking about adding a 6'0"-ish retro single fin to the quiver...
