Yeh, I've been riding one of those but a 9'6" for the last 10 years, and been riding his boards since 1992. Think I've had 12 or 13 longboards off him in that time. Never had a bad one.

Good board, if you want a big old log.

My little picture thing on here is me riding that board. Looks a bit rougher than that these days - it's well travelled lol.

Cheers for the reply Hang11

I suppose i already knew what the answer was gonna be, i´ve also been riding their boards since 1994 and i´ve owned 4 so far, this being the 5th.

Having said that this will be the first pure nose rider, i guess i´m in doubts a little about the 17" tail for maneuvers/turns etc

My favorite board of all time is one of their all-rounder which i had made 13 years ago, even though it´s now bashed about with use, it´s got a lot of soul.

Mate, I bought one of the all rounder boards in 1996, had it tweaked a bit over the standard shape. Loved that board, it was the best mal I ever owned, surfed it all over the place, france, ireland, fiji, hawaii, NZ etc etc. Just went so well. Pretty much killed it, and bought one the same in 2003, which I'm still using :D It isn't quite as "magic" but still damn good.

I emigrated to NZ in 2003, and have been fixing my boards up ever since, too scared to go see another shaper lol. I'll probably pick up a couple more of his boards if I ever go through the UK again :D My noserider is rocking 3 creases, most of the rails and tail are rebuilt, and I've reglassed most of the bottom. Still goes great though.

The ultimate noserider is great if you want a cruisey board, and i find turns real well in gruntier waves, but I pretty much use it for the small, clean days. It's not as easy to chuck around as something with less tail, but it does a great cutback with enough speed. I find it's not really what I like in steeper or fast waves in terms of keeping a rail in the face, but I've got a couple of other boards that I use in those sort of conditions. It's pretty hopeless for pulling a big reo or a floater on too, but it's not meant for that sort of thing.

Yeah same here Hang11 it´s leaving the UK this coming Monday.

I had the all-rounder tweaked from the standard shape too and i agree it´s been money well spent. bought me so much pleasure and i've surfed it in all shape and size waves.

Nice talking to you and thanks for the review

Here's to me enjoying it when it arrives in 2 weeks or so......wooohooo
