yup, it is because it's Winter in the northern hemisphere. That means the surf is up.

P.S. "I'm getting closer to my home"

In case that P.S. is too abstract or readers are too young, that is a line from a Grand Funk Railroad song, "Closer to home - I'm Your Captain." This indicates I'm an Old Guy.

hello old guy, Captain Mainwaring was a silly old buffoon of a man on home guard during the 2nd world war, this indicates that i too am an old man :) and sometimes a buffoon.
